Wooden Tech Summit ID's technological know-how tendencies


CHARLOTTE, NC -- The inaugural Wooden Tech Summit, held Feb. 24-95 in the course of the Closets & Dwelling Business Conference & Expo, presented fresh insights into trends driving technological know-how adoption in the wooden production community.


Nine presenters in three Wood Tech Summit sessions supplied functional input on the difficulties to linking computerized manufacturing processes to production machinery, and to prospects. Just one trend determined was the transfer to mass customization, driven by information captured at the stage of sale--identical to the automobile market place.
